Yeah but since they shut down in 96, Takada became a real scumbag, especially when it came to dealing with pro wrestling (he still runs the HUSTLE promotion).Shame since he was so talented.

Thats the point of the organization, to appear realistic. They used to boast that their athletes possesed legit skills in Catch wrestling and kickboxing. One of them even fought Rickson Gracie.....and lost miserably. Mind you, Sakuraba was the real deal, as he proved time and time again.

Yeah, UWF International was a Japanese professional wrestling promotion which prided itself on having realistic looking matches. Check out their Wiki page. Sakuraba used to wrestle for them.
