I am a 42 year old Congenital Heart Patient.. My defect is called D-Transposition of The Great Vessels. I am seeking all who have succeeded age 40 without a heart transplant. I would like to know their success story, and the quality of life for which they have lived. I have been told, I am the oldest living, in the United States, with this particular Heart Defect. Is this true????I accept any assistance available, in finding others like myself. Time is of the essence.

I admire you as a mother, women and gaurdian angel! I was born with a hole in my heart and had to undergo 2 open surgeries. Your video gave me insight on what my parents must have felt watching me go through the pain and struggle. Espesially when you explianed how you felt when you had to hand your son over for yet another surgery and not knowing the outcome all day long... I am now 22 years old and am training in the medical field. Thank you for sharing your family's story with all of us!

this was a beautiful video. I to had a child with CHD, but was not as lucky. My little girl died one month to the day after her birth. I miss her.
