Once again, you will want to see a doctor, but it sounds like you are having anxiety attacks. The weird thing about anxiety attacks is that when you are having them, you don't think it is an anxiety attack. You think you are having a heart attack. One of my anxiety attacks was so bad, I actually thought my heart had stopped beating.I have not had anything traumatic happen to me, but apparently that doesn't matter. You can still have anxiety attacks anyway.

Funny you mentioned the anxiety attacks. I went today to my regular doctor and was told it might be that. I also was told of a device that you wear across your chest, and when the "Attacks" happen, you turn it on to try to capture what's going on with your heart. Since my last post it seems as though the events have subsided? I'm puzzeled to say the least.

Now, I am certainly not a doctor, but I had similar symptoms and I thought I had heart failure. The doctors did an EKG and a C reactive protein test and both came back normal.Turns out I had been having anxiety attacks.Of course, you will want to talk to a doctor about it.

I suggest you ask your doctor to refer you to a cardiologist. Did the ER not even do an EKG?

I all of a sudden have high blood preasure, and my heart "Flutters" when I walk to my front door from my room I'm winded. I went to the ER and they took an x-ray, and done no diagnostic work, and put me home, I'm going for a stress test from my regular DR. My Dad died in his 40's the same age I am..I'm scared :(
