I now have to carry Nitro-Quick 0.4mg Sublingual Tabs with me and take a maximum of 3 in a 15 min. period, when I get chest pain. If the pain doesn't go away after the 3rd tab, then I have to call emergency. I'm slim, I don't eat dairy products, saturated fats or smoke, but my Father and older brothers passed away at young ages. It's a real bummer when it is genetically hereditary after spending all your life being careful with good diet and exercise!

4 Wks ago, I had what was diagnosed as "Chronic Angina Pectoris" while at work. I wasn't feeling stressed when the attack happened. After suffering this attack, I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy; the pain was incredible, restricted my breathing and took emergency crews 1 1/2 hours to stabilize. I was on I.V. Oxygen and had two hits of Nitro. After the 2nd hit of Nitro the pain began to dissipate.

I get chest pain when i inhale, this mostly happens in hot summer days, i also get "stabbing" pain my heart and it shoots down my left arm all the way to my elbow or fingertips. Are these signs of Angina? because i've been to a doctor and he said my heart muscle is having spasm's.
