Last winter, I was really far away from God and I think, if I remember correctly, found some of your videos, and I really enjoyed them-I mean, I felt convicted and drawn. Now, I found them again on youtube-I really like the fact that you are supporting everything you say with the Bible which is the FINAL AUTHORITY! It is true indeed that we are NOT to go after signs. I needed to be reminded that yes, Satan can very easily draw us to think that whatever we are feeling or seeing is from God.

The Lord gives a vision for a specific Christian, not for the church or the world. Visions are personal. If someone trys to tell you about their vision, graciously tell them that their vision is their own concern and not to share it with you. Chances are they are already grieving the Holy Spirit by mentioning it. Peter had a vision from God. It was personal. It confirmed something God was doing or Peter would not have associated with the gentiles at the gate outside his house.

There will be no supernatural signs. The only information that will be given to people concerning the end times will come directly out of the Bible. If someone tells you they had a vision or a dream and it was from God, run for the hills. The Bible is the authority.

How did Peter know Corneilus received the Holy Ghost?

We don't seek after signs, nor do we seek after any man. However signs DO follow the believers.

WhErE72, people who go see Todd Bentley or Benny Hinn etc., are looking for a sign. They probably get bored when he starts preaching whenever he does preach...they probably wonder, "When are the healings going to happen,lol"...Its true. Secondly, where in the bible is their even 1 apostle whose entire ministry is centered around just doing miracles? You dont think of that as a warning sign that those who come to those types of preachers are looking for a miracle? ~Raven

KingdomUploader, As you know the bible says that God uses all things for his purpose...He uses it so much that SOME whom cast out demons, healed the sick, prophesied in his name, didnt make it to heaven. ~Raven

galaxydreams, Yes. That is the scripture I was thinking off previously but forgot. Obviously God will do miracles but the difference is the persons ministry wont be build on the allure of signs/miracles. If it happens, it happens but its not because the church put so much focus on it. I liked how Monica said the miracles followed AFTER...~Raven

Monica, what confuses me is how God says that there will be a great outpouring of Gods spirit too. So, do you believe miracles will be done by real Christians too during the end times? I do realize that Satan will be doing miracles too but I do get confused on this because it sounds like their wont be any miracles by real Christians and the outpouring of Gods spirit will entail other things. ~Raven |
