I think denominations are divided on too many issues and they need to get unified and become the force they could be for soul winning.

I think it's important to remember that every revival has been severely criticized by members of the church: The Topeka Kansas, Welsh, Asuza St (now regarded as legit and landmark), et al--even Acts 2--where they asked "are these people not drunk?" The devil hates revival and resists it. We'll know them by their fruits: every revival has devil in it as well as God. So, let's not through out the baby with the bathwater.

Exposing the false is not wrong. Its not about denominations but about truth or error and about discerning true revival from false revival in whatever church. Prove all things hold on to what is good. I suggest you look on part 1-4 also. God Bless /Martin

Hi all. I wish Christians wouldn't argue amongst one another. We already have thousands of denominations and can't even love each other INSIDE our denominations.Well, I haven't read any of Strom's books or heard much of what he says, but today, truth does get much more attack than falsehood, and it often just looks so... out of place. However, it's strange I came upon Strom's stuff in this season where God is teaching me greater discernment. I sum it this way: it can't be coincidence.

What an appropriate passage to use - there are SO many people out there proclaiming themselves to be prophets & have special knowledge - I've yet to see someone "prophesy" that I was comfortable with either their message or their method.This verse absolutely describes, I believe, the entire "faith movement."
